This is the first memory quilt I have finished! We tied it together at Chrissy's house this summer. The quilt is in memory of my sister, Maude who died three years ago. These are pieces from the scrub tops Maude had made Chrissy for her work as a nurse. So fabric she had picked out and held and made into scrub tops which I then took apart. I am working on four more for myself, my two remaining sisters and my mom. I will eventually make one for my niece and nephew who my sister Maude left behind. Right now I don't think they would understand it. But I am happy to have one made and excited to started on them again after Christmas is over.
