More in September

Catherine is just so smiley. She is always happy unless she is tired, stinky, hungry or mad! I took some photos of Elsie that I think turned out great...I will post more with her school photo so you can tell me which one is better. I got a few photos of Catherine with Great Granddad too it is so sweet. 

The State Fair

We went to the state fair this September as usual. We saw the beginning of the lumber jack show which was stopped due to weather. Yes it rained while we were there. Yuck and yes we still went to see the animals and four-H barn and all. I guess what made it fun was being there with family. One funny thing was Will's sister who lives here bought Elsie a pony ride but she got on one too! She is such a fun aunt!

More family time

Here are a few photos we took while Will's sister was visiting. We took lots of photos of the babies so cute! We got to spend time with aunts and uncles and grandparents it was great.

Some visitors!

We were so excited to have some visitors. Will's sister came with her new baby boy. It was so much fun to get together and see Elsie and Catherine's new cousin! We had lots of fun just hanging out. But we managed to have a little fun out too.

Second week in September

Just some cute shots of the family and especially Catherine and Elsie. Elsie really likes there matching dresses which is purely coincidental that they look similar.

Miniature Golf

Elsie had been asking to miniature golfing for a while so we finally went at the end of the summer. It was fun. Except there was a family behind us whose kids kept playing into our game. Then when we stopped to let them go by they left instead. I felt bad but I guess that was their choice. 

Tooth number 5

On September 10th Elsie lost her fifth tooth and the first of her front teeth! It was sort of a sad day for me because I know when the big tooth grows in she will look like a big kid!! But she is getting to be a big kid so why stop it I guess. The funny thing is the tooth still has not come in yet and it is October 23rd. So I get a little longer with my little girl.

The last photo is of Elsie doing homework. She does not get that much though. One math page a week and spelling words on Monday for a Thursday test. Also we are supposed to have her read to us for 20 minutes a day. It does not sound like a lot but it does take time! But she is really doing well. She can do her math by herself for the most part and she has been doing really well on her spelling tests. They do Math in Spanish class and so some times dad has to help with the homework too. 

First week in September

In the first week or so of September Catherine started to roll onto her side. She has also been enjoying sucking on her hands a lot. She started batting at toys above her and I gave her a toy to hold and she held on. She then brought the toy to her mouth of course! She is getting so big and doing more and more things now. We are so in love with this little girl!
