I made a lot of apple sauce this fall! Here is Elsie helping a a little bit. In the picture she is using a food mill to squish the cooked apples and get the seeds and skin out of them at the same time. I bottled a little bit of apple sauce and then I use it to make apple butter which I give away to family and friends for Christmas. I started to make it the first fall we were in our house here. My sister Maude used to make a it for all of us. After she died I decided that I would make it so we could keep enjoying the deliciousness of it!
