Yes we will be the proud owners of two house as of Aug. 21st. Well we hope not because hopefully the one in KS will sell but we are closing on a new house in UT in Aug. Here is a photo of the outside...which is not that great...but the inside is fabulous. It is all redone inside with a brand new kitchen and beautiful hardwood floors. It is a bit smaller then our house in KS but we are going to finish the basement and make it a 4 bedroom instead of a 3 bedroom. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and one down stairs at the moment and there is a second family room down stairs too. It is another ranch so we like that. It has a shed out back and a carport that is all enclosed except for the front. Besides the work we have to do in the basement we want to work on the yards. It has no trees so we want to plant some and we want to make a trellis in the back where there are some grapes planted.
Oh and just so you don't think we are totally crazy we will get a little help from Hilton with buying and selling our houses. One of these perks is they will pay 3 months mortgage of our KS house once we close on the new one. So we have 4 more months to sell but then we might have to take some drastic measures! We are very excited and will put more pictures up when we move in!!!

Scipio
Well last week Elsie and I experienced several firsts. It was our first time celebrating the 24th of July and our first trip to Scipio UT. For those of you who are not from Utah the 24th of July is a state holiday. It is a celebration of the day the pioneers arrived in the valley to settle Utah. There are parades and programs and lots of fun all over the state. We happened to be in a little town called Scipio for the 24th. We went there with Will's step mom Mary. She actually grew up in this little town of 300 or so residents. Of course things have changed but not that much. It still has a little parade on the 24th then a program which includes a speech by Miss Scipio followed by a talent show. Later that day they had some games in the park including races which Elsie ran in and won 2 quarters. She was probably third out of the 5 or 6 tow year old girls that raced. That night there was a town dinner. If we had stuck around the next day we could have seen the rodeo...but alas we had to come back home.
While we were in Scipio we got to meet and hang out with lots of Mary's nieces and nephews and their kids. While there was only one little boy around Elsie's age there were lots of little girls for Elsie to look up to an imitate. They played dress up, jumped on the trampoline and played hide and seek. It was lots of fun. We also got to see the family horses and try to feed them some hay. Elsie was too scared to do it herself but she did hand the hay to grandma to do it. Here are a few photos from the weekend. I might try to get some parade pictures up later.

Happy Seventh Anniversary
Will and I celebrated our seventh anniversary this past weekend. Let me start off by saying I am the luckiest girl around. I know it sounds corny but I am. Will is a great husband, father and provider. He works so hard to take care of us. He loves to spend time with Elsie and he almost always lets me have my way. Who could ask for anything else?
To celebrate we went into Salt Lake and ate at a nice restaurant that looks down on the Temple. It was gorgeous!! It was extra special because that is where Will and I got married 7 years ago. When we got there they showed us to our table and there was a beautiful vase of calla lilies on it. At first I thought nothing of it but then the waitress said we could move them if we wanted so we could see each other. And then I noticed that there were no beautiful flower arrangements at any other tables. Will had gotten his little brother to pick up the flowers and bring them to the restaurant so they would be waiting for me!!! It was the sweetest thing ever!! He even had them use 7 lilies for the 7 years we have been married...I can't wait to see the bouquet I get for our thirtieth anniversary. After dinner we walked around Temple square and then went to see the new Harry Potter film. It was a nice long date that we loved.

Cute stuff
When you see that title on our blog you know it has to do with Elsie. She is the cutest thing ever and I love to show off pictures of her to anyone who will look. The stories behind these shots are sort of cute. I got her out of bed one morning and she had taken her socks off her feet and put them on her hands. It was very adorable. Grandma Flora came over to visit one afternoon and did Elsie's hair...I had no idea that her hair was long enough for braids. For quite a while now Elsie has been carrying all her purses around at once. When we were still in KS she started wearing a bonnet while she did this. But every time I went to take a photo of it she dropped all the purses. By some miracle she decided to actually pose and say cheese for this photo.

What we are up to...
You might be asking yourself why did Adah post a ton and now dropped off the face of the earth. Well we are up to a whole lot of nothing!!! That is right it is sort of nice...but it can get a bit boring. So I have not posted anything so I would not bore you. I do have a few cute photos of Elsie but I am having a bit of technical difficulty so they must wait.
But seriously what are we up to?? Well Will is working A LOT! He goes in by 6:30 or 7:30 and is not home until very late. I would say his average for this week so far is around 10 pm. Before you question our sanity (which I have already done believe me) just know that this will not be the norm. He is helping to open a new hotel and with that comes a lot of hard work. He is also doing the budget and that always keeps him at work late. So I am basically a single parent during the week. As far as weekends go Will works some and has some off. But he always takes Sunday off so we do get him for one day a week.
Now what are Elsie and I up to. Well we go for a walk every morning. We sometimes go to the park or the library. We spend a lot of time in the room and when we need to get out we go to the outlets or to Walmart to shop...even if we don't buy anything. Sounds great right?? Well the one really great thing is Will can stop in for lunch or a quick hello. That is one thing I will miss once we find a house and he is still working these crazy hours!!!
I do have to say we have been able to see Will's family a lot and it has been very nice. Elsie loves her grandparents and her aunts and uncles. And Will's mom has even come to play with us one day for the past two weeks. So we are not totally alone and without company.
So that is about it for now. We will keep you posted on the home selling and buying adventures as they happen....please let the selling happen soon!!!
