Puppies in Vermont

One of Elsie's cousins grandparents has puppies. So naturally we went to visit them. Keep in mind Elsie usually freaks out when she sees cats and dogs or any other animal for that matter. But she actually pet one of the puppies. I guess she figured they were so small they could not hurt her.

Lunch with Charity

We were very lucky to overlap our time in Boston with Elsie's Aunt Charity. So we went to lunch with her and her great boyfriend.

The Longfellow Church Building

A little while ago there was a church building in Cambridge MA that burned down. That Church building was called the Longfellow Building and belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is the church building where I spent the first three years of my collage career. It is the place that I met my husband and a large number of my best friends. It was a very sad thing to go and see this beautiful building completely destroyed. I know that many people will miss it.

Cousin Nathan and Elsie

Chrissy's little boy Nathan is 3 months younger then Elsie so they had a great time playing together. Elsie especially liked all his exciting new toys! In the first two pictures of them they are playing ring around the rosie. I will try to post a video I took of it too.

Our big trip

So I have a ton of photos to post from our trip to Boston and Vermont. I am sure you will enjoy them all.

We began our trip in Boston with my sister Chrissy. She was 36 weeks pregnant at the time. After staying afew days with her we went to Vermont. While we were gone for a week Chrissy had her baby boy!!! We are so happy to have him in our family! Here are the before and after pictures.

Grandma came to visit and we went to the zoo

When Will went out Utah to start working his mom so graciously came to stay with us. We had a lot of fun. Here she is at the zoo along with some of our best friends.

Swimming with daddy

Elsie has been spending her Saturday mornings swimming with her daddy. They head down in the morning to Will's hotel and go swimming in the pool. Elsie loves it!! I am not sure what will happen now that we have moved. The place we are staying at has a heated outdoor pool so maybe they will swim there.

A bug watcher

Elsie discovered bugs a little while ago and has since enjoyed watching them. She points them out all the time to us.

We made it

Well for better or worse we made it to Utah! We are getting settled into our new home (a few hotel rooms). I went grocery shopping this morning and so our little kitchen is now stocked with good foods. That is the one good thing about it here, we have a common room with a living area and a small kitchen!!! So we don't have to eat out 3 meals a day for the next month or so. Elsie is doing well so far. But I think I might pull my hair out since I have to watch her every move!! We are just praying that our house sells soon so we can buy one here and move in.

The last days

As we near the move date we are spending as much time as we can with friends. Here are a few photos of Elsie with her two best friends.

Moving

Well, I guess I should give you all a few details on our move. We found out Will got a new job about 3 or 4 weeks ago. He will be working in Utah in a Waldorf Astoria which is Hilton's high end brand. It is a resort in the mountains with a spa and condos to be rented out. The best part about moving there is we will be close to Will's family.

Will starts work there next Monday the, 11th. Elsie and I will be in Kansas for 2 more weeks and then go visit family in Vermont and Boston. Will is going to be back in Kansas for the first week of June so I will meet him there and we will fly out that Sunday. We are in the process of putting our house up on the market so we will see how fast it sells...we hope fast!!! Other than that we are just trying to enjoy the time we have left with our great friends here in Kansas. We will miss them all but we are looking forward to this new adventure.

Happy Birthday party

Well it is little early but since we are MOVING we wanted to celebrate with our friends here!!! Yes we are moving!! But that is another post. So our good friends have a daughter a day younger than Elsie. We decided to do a group friends party together. We had to do it before the twins went to Utah so we had it at the end of April.
