We had a fun time at Grandpas house too. We opened presents when Will and his brother got back form skiing. Then we got ready for and ate a delicious meal Grandpa had prepared for us. Turkey with all the fixings. Grandpa tried hard to accommodate Will and his choice to be a Vegan. He used oil in the stuffing and roasted butternut squash and had a few plain boiled potatoes held out for Will. It was yummy just the same. I also got some great photos of great Granddad with Catherine and with Elsie then will all four generations. My mom had a great time listening to Will's uncle play the new baby grand piano. She even took a turn playing too.

Christmas morning 2013
This year we woke up the girls! I know it is crazy but we did it. Will went skiing with his brother and they wanted to leave at 8am. So we had to have Christmas at 7am. As you can see Elsie was a little tired. It was hard to go to bed the night before she was just so excited. We had a great time opening gifts and hanging out. The girls seemed to really like what they got so that was good. Then Will and his brother took off. We hung out at our house for a while. Will's youngest brother and his wife came by to see Will's mom and then all the siblings packed up and went out to Will's dad's house for round two.
Christmas Eve
What a fun night. We had dinner with Will's mom and siblings and then started celibrating. It all started with a rousing dance by Elsie from the Nutcraker. After she had settled down Will read from Luke 2 and Elsie acted out the parts with our little nativity set. Each girl got to open one gift. Elsie wanted Catherine to open her gift which was wrapped in red fabric. Inside was a minnie purple hippo pillow pet to match Elsie's big one! It is cute. Elsie got a fun craft box set and proceeded to decorate it right away. It was a good night.
Crazy Hair Day
Here is Elsie and her crazy hair. Her school had a crazy hair day in December. She had done this hairdo on our way home from Moab in November and decided then to do it for crazy hair day.
The Lights on Temple Square
We got to go see the Lights on Temple Square near the beginning of December. It was pretty cold out that night but we were bundled up so it was not too bad. It was a fun night. Will's mom came with us and of course we had my mom too who stayed with us through the holidays and into January.
Decorating the Tree 2013
This year we got a new tree! I mentioned to Will's mom I was sick of our 3 foot tree and she got so excited and said she would buy me one for my birthday. She did it and now we have a 6 foot artificial tree. I am excited but Will was pretty sad about it. He is not so into the holidays! But we enjoyed decorating it and had plenty of ornaments to fill it up!
