We are enamored with the baby, aren't you all?
Elsie had her one month birthday, and has been growing like crazy. She weighed 8 pounds, and is 21 inches tall. We are hoping that she will grow to be 21 feet tall, and subsenquently have been feeding her asparagus, the tallest vegetable know to man. The mother insists that asparagus is a much too complex food for a small baby to digest, but EM loves it and won't really touch anything else.
We made a trip out to Liberty Jail on the Fourth of July, and also to Adam-ondi-ahman, and Far West, which is actually, far north for us, but it was a nice drive to the middle of nowhere. Adah was very hungry that day and ate a whole cup of popcorn chicken on her own. The baby had asparagus.
Another highlight of the Fourth was when Grandma dressed up the baby to look like George Washington, and put these little tiny wooden teeth in her mouth. I am sorry to say none of the pictures came out, so you will have to settle for pictures of Elsie stretching on the green blanket she got from her other Grandma.
